Hopefully the paid part won't last long.

I saw an uncut version of this. Another vid of someone being killed by police. I don't understand. Leaving aside all the politics- how can, seemingly here, trained professionals use lethal force where there is no imminent threat?

Surely it should always be last resort. Why is this tolerated?

This is sort of a new and developing story but I'm thinking that there must be more to it than immediately meets the eye; why were multiple police units rolling code 3, (or whatever it's called), w lights and sirens, pedal to the metal to a broken down car and then get out w guns drawn, etc.?

Doesn't make sense.

As much as I am a critic of bad police shootings, they don't get a call saying a car broke down and rush over to shoot the guy.

I read that they were rolling to another call when they came up on the broken down car.

Cops are on edge...with all of them being shot down like dogs as of late...

But I will tell ya, needing some roadside help and getting gunned down like a dog...that just don't look good.

No, It's my guess.

I doubt a cop would ever admit to bad technique even if it were the case.

Why is he walking around like an idiot. I'm sure they told him to stop moving. He goes back to his car and it looks like he is reaching in the open window in that one video, I assume that's when he is shot. I'm sure more details will be coming. Not defending anyone, just what I got out of multiple videos.

The cops are supposed to be the good guys.

I can not understand how something like this can happen and it wasn't just one cop on the scene.
There must be more to the story.

Normally, they have insurance. Whether those policies will be less available in future is anyone's guess.

This seems outrageous. The SUV was reported stalled on the road. Police arrived and the driver was waiting by his car. Police say the man then failed to "obey commands". This was a stranded motorist call, for heaven's sake. Why were the police issuing commands at gunpoint? If you or I had been stranded on the road, the police would have been calling us a tow truck, not holding us at gunpoint with fingers on triggers.

I'm guessing this guy was the victim of sympathetic fire. One news story I read stated that one of the officers (not the female) shot the guy with a tazer. The female cop was probably all amped up and had poor trigger discipline and when the tazer went off, so did her Glock.

Why the guy was doing the zombie walk back to his car, I have no idea.

Clearly the answer is more laws, more cops, more government, more restriction of individual liberty and more surveillance.

What can possibly go wrong?

This is why the "law and order candidate" (who puts LEOs on a pedestal and believes they can do no wrong) scares the crap out of me almost as much as Clinton.

SO all of the cops had guns drawn and pointed.. I wonder if the guy gave them reason.

Or are we supposed to FEED the popular virtue signaling narrative that cops pull people over just to shoot them?

Seriously.

So many "whys?". Why did he not just stand still? Why do they taze him AND shoot him in the back?
