Carry Holster, Sneaky Pete vs Inside Waistband

Have a clip on holster for the S&W 642 that works well as inside the waistband, appendix carry. That thing is pretty tiny though, and am picking up a Glock 26 this week. It is a little bulkier, and a Sneaky Pete on my belt seems like it would be a decent choice. Anyone have experience with them?

I use a Galco Stow N Go, carry IWB around the small of my back. I now carry a SIG P220, which is fill size, but pretty easy to conceal this way.

I crry a Springfield EMP in 9mm in a Galico IWB holster at 3 o'clock I have it adjusted to sit as lw as it can. I have asked a cop bud to look me over and he didn't see it.

You big(?) guys have more CC options. I've tried carrying my 220; was like hiding a football on my skinny ass

That's my problem. Too skinny except around the waist. It makes it uncomfortable to appendix carry while actively going about my day. A shoulder holster is better for my build but being in So Cal it's not often that clothing options make concealment possible. I've got a custom tailored ankle holster but I hate carrying so low. Leaves me with an inside the belt in the small of my back as my best spot.

Believe it or not, my P220 is easier to conceal that my P239 in the small of my back. The longer barrel/slide make it stay parallel to my body, whereas the P239 was short enough that it wanted to flop out when I sit down and the belt bulges out a little. Since they both have the same capacity, I figure the P220 is a better choice.

I replaced a really good IWB with a belly band and love it. I wear the band around my chest just below my armpits and place my P938 at about ribcage level on my side. It hides really well even with relatively tight fitting shirts and doesn't pull down my pants like an IWB. You can use it as an IWB as well.

Lots of choices, I think this is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/Belly-Band-Mag-Pouches-Black/dp/B004LARCLA/ref=sr_1_4?s=hunting-fishing&ie=UTF8&qid=1476724985&sr=1-4&keywords=belly%2Bband%2Bholster&th=1

I use a sneaky pete, or inside the waistband holster, or ankle holster, or shoulder holster, or pocket holster, depending on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.

I have 2 from Sneaky Pete. One for a Compact 9mm and one for a 3" Compact 1911 45ACP. If you remove the spacer, you can store extra magazines under the grip.

Most people just think you are a geek with some stupid thing on your belt...

Strongly leading to the Sneaky Pete for daily use. The IWB approach is fine if you are wearing a shirt you can have untucked, or a jacket, but if wearing a jacket, I would go with a holster in the L armpit. Geek with leather purse on his hip fits with the slacks I wear to the office. Untucked shirt does not.
