Need tires for the E350. Suggestions?

I find myself boggled at the options. My MB E350 is my commuter car. I want a quiet ride with good all weather traction. 245/40R18 size. 4 matic. Any suggestions? I was looking at some Continentals (PURECONTACT WITH ECOPLUS) that are $167 each. But there quite a few cheaper options. Anyone have any experience with Kumho tires? Helpful input appreciated.

I ran the continentals on my E550 and I cannot say that I was impressed with them. They seemed to suffer from sidewall damage due to pot holes. I had kumhos on my SC and liked them.

I have Conti Extreme Contact DWS on my wife's van and really like them, per Tire Rack they are the best rated UHP all season tire for snow performance.

I would say anything but Continentals. Had over 4 sidewall bulge failures with Contis in <1 year. Done with the brand, for car tires at least. I like conti for bicycle tires. I'd go with Michelin. Pilot Sport All Seasons are pretty sweet.

Tires are the only thing that connect your car to the road. Most important part of the vehicle after the brakes.

I put Kumhos on a Honda Civic. Soft tires and great grip at first. About two years later they were bulging, peeling, and out of center. Literally fell apart every way possible. | ||

Hercules Terra Trac....best tires i've had on my 99 Powerstroke F250. Long lasting, low noise, good grip.
