My favorite musician example is
Steve Miller. Looks like your uncle and you could be standing next to him in line at the supermarket, and he's got HUNDREDS of millions of dollars - and he's a good musician.

Electronic musician, spend all day in my studio making music on the computer and get rich.
If I have or want to perform on stage wear some outlandish costume so no one will recognize me on the street (there are a couple guys that perform in helmets, I presume for that very same reason).
