I live in New Castle PA, the fireworks capitol of the USA. We take blowing chit up around here very seriously. 4th of July lasts a month here. We even have fireworks at high school football games. Zambelli lives down the road from me as do Pyrotechnica both world famous shooters.

Try living next to an amusement park. The neighbors try to out boom them. No way the PD is going to respond unless there is a fire and injuries. Guns, mortars, industrial light em ups are all fair game. IN the middle of a large city no less.

I spent a month in Ajijic, Mexico. The locals celebrated everything with fireworks. There were fireworks going off every damn night. Every Catholic holy day - and they have a lot of them down there - was an excuse to blast open the night. The Mexicans I knew were strange people. To sit and talk with them, they acted very quiet and gentle, but put them in a vehicle or say, "party" and they got insanely loud and aggressive.

I can handle the normal stuff but these things are like battleship guns going off....scaring the crap out of my dogs and I admit a little unnerving for me.

I went out myself earlier and didn't see anyone but enough is enough...these clowns should be on the beach or out somewhere away from society doing this chit...

I don't expect the cops to do much but short of me taking matters into my own hands which is/was very tempting....gotta put it in the hands of the safety officials, right?

Happy New Year, btw.....

You would not do well in my neighborhood. Yokels blasting guns into the air all night long.
