spoons and gift card dilema

My loving family got me a total of $325 in gift cards to the bass pro that opened in town a few months ago. Awesome!

Except they are SO high on their prices and limited as to what they can get in.

Buckmark mags are $32, I can order them lots of places for $25. Ruger 10/22 or Mk II mags are also $30 each. Yes, the plain 10 round 10/22 mag is $30. Even teh local known-for-high-prices spoon store has 'em for $20.

10/22 carbine is $260, as is a 20" barreled thin-forearm rifle (mdl 1159). Halfway interested in the 20" barrel set up, but I'm not a fan of the way the fore end feels. Too thin.

They can't order me a LVT...

They can order me a Charger. The basic wood laminate non-takedown is $300.

So.... over priced carbine w/ stock I can't stand, over priced rifle w/ stock that is OK but not ideal, or an over priced Charger which I'm not sure I really have a purpose for.

Or just sit on 'em and hope to catch a sale at some point?

Trade your $325 Bass Pro Shop cards for someone else's $300 generic Visa card. Then you get $300 from anywhere, and they get a free $25 at the store.

Ruger.380.

The plus...they are cheap...less than $250.

The minus. My hands/wrists are buggered up. I could not pull back the slide to cock. not much crab a hold space.....I have P-22 that works fine
I finally clamped the lower section a vice & cycled it thru a hundred times.....it's still too stiff. A few hundred more?

The piece is not actually made by Ruger but some local(0R) outfit.
I am less than pleased.

Don't need/want a 380. No CC permit (I work at a college, so having one does me no good), should I feel the need to carry I have teh CZ 9mm or for serious fun the FAL kit build.

Good question! When I was a youngster, I was shown how to shoot a gun or a rifle. I don't ever remember my father calling it a spoon. Maybe he was not with the times!

I had never heard of the Charger but it looks like fun. Fun is a purpose

I bet they will price match.

They might even discount the competitors price by the difference.

Yep, and/or use them for spoon food.
