JP was one of the first folks I met at the PCA Autocross. Over the years, he was always a guy to be with. I will miss him. He was always there for me and anyone who needed a hand.

He was recovering from a serious stroke, so I would presume it was somehow related. He was still doing the things he loved right up until the end, and that is a real blessing.
