For sweeping adventure, I'd suggest The Last of the Mohicans or Silverado. Neither one is lesser known, but they could be for you.

Silverado is a great western, fast paced, almost exhausting.

If you have not seen it, The Gods Must Be Crazy is outstanding, especially if you like slapstick comedy.

There were three of those. I enjoyed them all.

Currently at the theaters I enjoyed Hidden Figures, a great movie, and was really surprised that Live by Night was just an excellent film, a man's movie with a little extra going for it.

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

Just watched Saving Private Ryan yesterday (second time) and I forgot what an outstanding movie it is. I ordered it on my Apple TV and told my sons it will be a manditory watch.
