				Don't blink... "Hidden Figures" movie.

Went to see the movie "Hidden Figures" today. Outstanding story and film.

In the small world my wife's family worked in the aerospace industry (JPL and TRW) at that time and she (my wife) met the astronauts, probably including John Glenn, though she was about 6 and doesn't remember the event.... Anyway, in the film one of the women drives a 50's Chevy (maybe '57 or so?) Blue and white two tone. In the scene where they're all biting their nails over Glenn's re-entry and possible incineration, she pulls up in said Chev and gets out. As she's exiting the car you get a good side view of the car - and lo and behold to the quick of eye, you can clearly see tube headers going into a collector and on to to a big bore exhaust system....not exactly stock... Sheesh, I guess I'm a car nerd. Wonder what other films or race tracks that car's been in or on...

Let me clarify - I'm a modification nerd. I've never had interest in date accuracy, period restoration, blah blah blah. More interested in catching subtle details where something has been improved. Crème de la crème example being Singer IMHO.

I also tend to notice grammar and typos - especially in signature lines...
