GOAT - yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh ryyyyyytttte!

If you had actually watched the game, you would have realized that Brady does not play defense. Or maybe you wouldn't.

Didja notice he passed for 505 yards (without throwing an interception), the most ever in a superbowl breaking his own record from last year? No, probably not.
But congrats on beating him twice!

As a fan of the game of football, you had to be thrilled with the back and forth score, good officiating, low penalty count, huge offensive production right to the last play not knowing who was coming out on top.

I won't ever admit that Brady (hate him, the Patriots, and Belicheck) is the best ever, but the stats seem to indicate it is so.

Well said. And I don't remember Bradshaw, Staubach, Aikman or Montana (SB winners) being accused of cheating nor would they have cried on national television when confronted with said cheating. But yeah, that aside, Brady has had an impressive run.

I hope Brady can get the Pats back to the SB again so he can tie Jim Kelly for the most SB losses by a QB. It would be even better if he lost all of them, like Kelly, to NFC East teams.

Listen, I know this breaks your heart but TB is married... maybe after his transvestite 'wife' dumps him you can make a play for him. F him and F the patriots - comprende?

I don't give a chit what his stats were. He doesn't play O-line either but that failed him at the worst possible time. The only thing impressive about this azzhat is his longevity - period. +1 for a future 4 time SB loser.

KFC911 02-05-2018 03:31 PM

A loser with 5 SB rings though ;)

Awesome game.
Brady gets my vote.
Montana got bumped to #2.

Oh yea:

AFC-911 02-05-2018 05:42 PM

Favre is still better than Brady, imho.

greglepore 02-05-2018 05:54 PM

Well, he can't catch for poop.

Seriously, that was a great game. I give TB credit, every game, even the losses, have been slugfests. Last nite was the Thrilla in Manila all over again.

4 th and goal. Wildcat reverse option. Holy crap.

I've had Montana alone at the top, with another half dozen close seconds for years...Brady took his place along side Joe last year...yesterday was another epic Brady performance...you just don't always win if you play enough. Yesterday....Nick Foles was just as great and the Beagles D stepped up a notch when it counted.....one of the best SB performances by both offensive teams...

Only thing I'll say about Brady....he can't catch worth a damn ;)

AFC-911 02-05-2018 05:59 PM

I've actually stopped watching football. The last greats are Young, Aikman & Favre.

Of the current generation of QBs, I like Brees, Peyton & Rodgers...

Superman 02-05-2018 06:23 PM

Tom Brady has how lost nearly as many Superbowls as Joe Montana won. Montana won four and lost....oh yeah, none.

Superman 02-05-2018 06:28 PM

As far as we know, and according to statistics, if Joe Montana had played in as many SB games as Tom Brady, he'd have 8 rings.

Porsche-O-Phile 02-05-2018 07:08 PM

You guys do realize football is a team sport, right?

Norm K 02-05-2018 07:14 PM

It's tough to argue with Brady's numbers. Still, if I had to win one game I'd go with Montana.

And that's what makes Brady one of the greats. Montana didn't play in as many. And again, you can name the receivers, running backs, hell you can name the defensive safety for the teams Joe played on. Joe/Niners had more weapons on offense and a stronger defense as well. I'm a Steelers fan, bash Brady all you want but the guy finds ways to win. There isn't an ounce of quit in him. NOT the G.O.A.T but again, the best of this era.... Just like Joe was the best of his, Young... the best of his... Favre.... yep... Bradshaw... yep... Not sure there really is a greatest of all time.

I'd take Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or Ben Roethlisberger who all have more 4th quarter comebacks than Joe.

One other thing on the team. I would guess more football fans can name more players on the Steelers than they could on the Patriots. To me this is what makes Brady and the Patriots achievements all that much more impressive. No really big household names outside of Brady and all they do is win.
