No problem. I only have three keys. Home, job, car. :D

Have some sort of aversion to carrying a lot of keys. Have keys down to a bare minimum.

2 keys on a ring for everything at the house including the house.

Cars each have a head with either light or alarm fobs. Carry each vehicle key separately only when driving that vehicle.

Usually only carry the two house keys on a ring and a car key when I go anywhere.

Used to have two more on the house keyring for work, but work went to photo ID cards with RFID for Everything. Keep it in my wallet like a credit card. Can hold wallet near the readers without removing card.

Keep stuff like wallet, change, pocket knife, rings, keys, etc. in tray on my dresser. Load pockets when getting dressed.

Used to leave keys in console of each car for that car. Then found garage overhead doors with an opener are kinda easy to get into. So went to keeping car keys with the rest of my pocket lint in bedroom. Also keep the cars locked in the garage and keep garage door into house locked.

Would like to RFID all my house locks and just carry a card for that as well. And keyless entry and drive on all the cars too.

Keep the extra copies of all the active keys in a fireproof, waterproof lockbox with valuables and paper work like titles.

Car keys separate. I have (2) key rings - house key, mailbox key, office keys. I work in a manufacturing plant and I have a key ring for equipment, gates, doors, etc. That key ring stays in my office.

I don't like carrying around allot of keys.

I hate a big wad of keys so my three cars are separate. Truck and minivan are on one ring with a house key and keys for the hitch lock on the truck. House exterior garage side door and garage doors are on a keypad. If I don't know what it goes to I chuck it.

These are my keys. These are all of the keys I carry. I have had that same set of keys in my pocket for almost 20 years. One key for work, one for home, one for the 911 and two for the El Camino.

Whey Chevy decided it should take two keys to operate a car I have no idea. They are complexly worn smooth. I have had that style of Porsche key in my pocket for 42 years.

If they are not in a key tumbler they are in my pocket from the time I get dressed to the time I go to bed. I have never once in my life lost a key. I never go looking for my keys because they are right in my pocket.

DO NOT just hang them on a nail in the kitchen or room or hallway..

neighbors house got broken into, they stole all his car keys too, so he was screwed .

I have a car key and an office key. My house has a digital keypad.

I keep a separate ring of keys in my car. Shop, storage unit, and my dad's house.

I hate carrying keys, and I hate having twenty keys hanging from the ignition.

Each car key has one house key attached. The Cayenne key has an additional key for the trailer hitch lock.

All other keys for home or work stay at home or work.

And remotes too. I have (counting)....5 garage door opener type remote controls. Two for gates, 3 for roll up doors.

This way I really only carry only two keys at any given time. Its even easier with keyless entry. One house key on the ring attached to the keyless fob, that's it. Keys for the rental? Now, that's a pain in the ass as they are separated and marked and numbers. If not, I'd be there for sometime.

This is what I need to do - key my house and parents' house the same. I go feed their cats 3 days a week. But I want to be able to lock them out of my shop.

You can have a master key for both, but the key they have doesn't open your house...

That is what I have but it is car, garage, office (desk - I have a key card to get into the building), and the key to my mom's house.

Now work is a different deal, wife jokes that I look like a janitor, I actually have to split it to two key rings, one for doors and one for cabinets.

I think I read somewhere it is bad for your ignition to have too many key... that is for us old timers who still have cars with keyed ignition ;)
