On a more serious safety note, I usually change my smoke detector batteries on time change days.

Crusty beat me to the punch, but I was bored and went out and checked the clock.
I knew my station wagon was set to DST. Then I checked the 911- it too was on DST- but what was cool is that I have not changed the time since I bought the car, and it was within 1-2 minutes after about 4 years!

Yes Sir! I've already got ours done and called my Mom to remind her....again. Also, remember to check the carbon monoxide detector, too.

You don't have one? Get out and get one!

The clock in the 72 runs slow. It should be just about right tomorrow.

Just really don't have to worry about it much these days. Cell phones should all change automatically, because they get the time from the carrier. Computers should all change automatically, and then it's usually simple to realize and change the couple of devices that are left like a microwave or stove. I do have an alarm clock with red LEDs from the 80s that I still use (for time, the alarm stopped working years ago) that I have to change.
