You can only cash cheques once.

My wife's car (2013 VW Passat) wont go through 8 inches of mud (even with studded tires).
Also learned there's no frigging place to hook a chain to it easily.

I learned that a 415 non o-ring chain needs to be replaced every 2 weekends. Otherwise, it will spit off your bike at 100mph and you're lucky you don't get killed.

Rear wheel didn't lock up until we were unloading the bike from the recovery truck, so I got lucky :)

I learned that a twin turbo V6 in a F150 has enough forward thrust to eject a fully loaded toolbox out of the bed of the truck into congested traffic at LAX. I also learned that people can be very polite and understanding while parked in gridlock watching an idiot cleaning up tools out of the road.

Today I learned my (gender confused, snowflake) daughter spent $300.00 for a graduation dress........for her (gender confused, snowflake, worthless idiot) BOYFRIEND.

You only see the serial number after you roll them all the way down yer shaft......so "stubby" what do ya think about that "TIL"?

Tervuren 04-06-2017 08:11 PM

Nearly everything I learned today was simply an ongoing development of prior discoveries.

I guess now that I've clicked on the thread and feel obligated to share. TIL I liked two of the video's posted by Daniel Dudley yesterday in the music thread, #12374 and #12373.
