![]() Some of you have run down CUTCO knives in the past, I sent mine in for factory resharpening after 20 years of ownership. I was in the Big A$$ RV in Arizona last week, so I sent them in, one week turnaround time. I didn't bother sending in the steak knives or most of the serrated ones. They resharpened and polished all of them AND sent me a new set of kitchen shears, a bird's beak paring knife and another paring knife because they had divets in them they couldn't grind out for free, about $250 in retail value. These puppies look like new and are SHARP. My cost $22 for both ways shipping plus $20 for UPS insurance.

The grocery store near my house offers the service for less than shipping. The ones with the groovy serration blades have never needed it so far.

![]() ![]() Just bought these two to complete my collection and fill my knife block. (Stock photos) I sent ALL of my Cutco knives to them for resharpening, including the serrated steak knives. I think it was 29 knives, they replaced for free one steak knife my dog had chewed up, and spatula/spreader for an unknown reason. One week turnaround and iirc $40 in shipping and insurance. They all came back sharp, and polished, blades and handles.

I find the Cutco handles hard to grip, especially when your hands are slippery. They look cool.

Aren't they just sending you replacements? I didn't think you could sharpen Cutco, don't they all have that micro serration which is why they cut so aggressively?

No they sharpen all of them, no micro serrations, only the regular serrated knives and straight blade knives.
