Selling on Amazon is Frustrating

It seems as if they figure a way to hold onto your money at every turn.

They are delaying sending me my payments for another week!

A couple of years, but we don't sell very fast. Mostly our backed up inventory.

And the kicker? If you get too successful, Amazon will introduce competing products.

Most of what we sell is available on Amazon. We are priced low to get rid of our inventory. Most people want "Amazon Prime".

There's a reason, actually several.

The way Amazon orders the offers. It always highlights Prime deals, even if they are more costly, including shipping.

My issue is I received a notice that a credit card had expired, except there were no expired cards on my account. Now the balance that should have been sent today, is "unavailable".

Then I opened a "ticket" over this, and the e-mail said they tried to call my office, but there was no answer...I was there all afternoon.

Can you share some insights? I have a client who wants to start selling premium-line products on Amazon.

I sold a product on Amazon. I have a new e-mail stating that they are "holding" my payment for 14 days after shipment. Then I have to wait a week to my disbursement date, THEN wait 3-5 days for the money to hit my bank account.

So, sold April 7th, shipped April 7th, payment "available" April 21st, wait for "disbursement date" of April 26th (once a week only) and then wait 3-5 days. So, minimum 22 days and "maximum" 25 days to get paid...

The product sold for $3500.
