I would have to be the $9000.00 I paid for this 79SC

Followed closely by the $1005.00 (sealed bid) I gave for this 04 F-550

My 45 year old Yamaha FG 580. I bought it from the original owner 25 years ago. It is a sweet sounding and playing guitar and is my go to for gigs every couple of weeks.

Best

My 1961 wife. I bought her from the original owners over 31 years ago and she has never failed me. I've pushed her to, and often over the limit, and I've been neglectful of her maintenance at times, but she just keeps chugging along.

My sioux valve facer/grinder setup. Paid $1600 for it in 1980. Made $$thousands$$ with it, still ticking.

I bought a 200 piece Craftsman tool set in 1985 that have never failed and saved me at least a hundred times what I payed for them.

The 48SX sill at my desk, and arms reach away. Altho' my 11C lives finger lengths away.
I have a 48G for work/gigs (not caring as much if it gets nabbed.)

Every other calc just seems Rong.

Replacing hot water heater on the far side of the house proactively. Our kids lived on the wing this was used for but have been gone 10+ years. They both make it home several times a year and have never really complained about no pressure. And the hot water was still clear. Not sure how.

'61 was a vintage year for wives.......same story here, 33 years.

The $7,000 I paid to replace my oil furnace with a natural gas furnace. Divided my heating bills by 3.

1941 or 42 epiphone zenith arch top. $10 in 1985. It has mojo / soul without end. Other than my family and dog, it is what I plan to grab when the house burns.

Couldn't figure out the picture. It's cool.

When the coin cell battery in the memory card of the 48SX died, you lost ALL of your Land Surveying data that you had collected using it as a data collector. The 48GX pretty much solved that problem.

However, Real Men still have a 41C, 41CV or 41CX variant on their desk to this day!

Best Deal..............

Have had several, but the latest would be a Winchester Super Field Grade Model 12 shotgun that I bought at an auction for $600 and swapped it a few days later for a $2700 rifle!

Only thing better is New Years where you are with a group of friends and the new gal that you never thought would fall for your Bullcrap grabs you and washes yer tonsils. God's truth happened twice in my sordid life.

I still meet up with one of them. She was the +1 in my Las Vegas adventure, three years back.

My GF spent $25 to go speed dating. I'm sure she looks at me sometimes and would rather have the twenty five bucks back.

You wouldn't be the first to do so.....Hermosa Beach was prime hunting grounds in the 80s.
