Tiger

Now a DUI. This unraveling is tough to watch.

His mugshot looks like a hundred miles of bad road.

He's only human. Much of us are one slip-up away from a DUI, so maybe cut the poor guy a break. Yeah, I know he's a womanizer.

Tell that to Tiger....that is his problem he thinks he is immortal. You know residing on Mt Olympus with the rest of the Gods. He was one of those guys that if you don't have 100M you are one of the peasants and not fit to talk to.

When he was knocked off his perch instead of admitting that he was fallible he doubled down and tried harder to regain immortality....only thing is he tried too hard and any mistake reminded him of being mortal. Where as before he could shrug it off and continue being great....immortal

Arnie Palmer did an interview with CR where when asked if Tiger would beat the Nicholas record said, "No he won't he does not have it in his eyes anymore."

You might say Tiger had a crisis of confidence in himself and tried ever so hard to regain the groove. The harder you try the more you fail, the more you begin to fumble the ball. He should of admitted to himself that he wasn't a guy whose shyte didn't stink and once facing his fallibility he could of picked up the sticks and moved on.

I'll be shocked if Tiger ever wins another tournament...doubt he's ever even competative again. I wish him no ill will, but he's a "has been"...

This is the expectation he was handed by his father and legions of others when he was a child prodigy.

Enough to make bail I'll bet

I'll admit, there's a degree of schadenfreude here for me. I saw him golf a few times and he was always a self-important ******* to the kids who just wanted an autograph or brief acknowledgement.

I'd bet he'd trade that billion in a heartbeat to climb back on the pedestal of adulation he once had though. Fame and fortune changed him....I'll never have that problem

"Smelling alcohol on Woods’ breath, an officer asked the golfer, who was acting “arrogant,” to take a Breathalyzer test, but he refused, the site reported.

In Florida, refusing to take the breath test leads to an automatic arrest and the suspension of a driver’s license."

I'm shocked, shocked I tell ya.

I thought this was about the animal. Could care less about him.
Sadly, some people get great delight in seeing another person's demise. (Disclaimer: not speaking about anyone in particular).

I read the long SI story about him. His father really screwed him up. Never had a normal life. Never really had a friend his own age. Socially under developed. He then got into the military training thing and injured himself. He'll never be right.

for me he was very interesting, I started golfing about the same time he turned pro and really started watching it. I don't even watch anymore, but then I haven't played in two years either.

Last year I purchased a keychain breathalyzer. It was eye opening. Two 7% IPA's at a dinner out put me over the limit. Before I owned that key chain I would have drove home feeling perfectly fine and capable of doing it. It was a life altering moment for me. It now costs restaurants and bars a lot of revenue since I now only drink one beer with dinner out.

What blows my mind is that someone with the means of Tiger would attempt to drive anywhere while drinking. If I had FU money like him, I would have a driver taking me everywhere unless I knew I was not going to drink and wanted to take my (insert your awesome car here) out for a spin.

Mind blowing.

Ironically I was driving home from Jupiter last night I saw no less than 3 drunk drivers on the road driving north from Jupiter, opposite direction tiger was going because poor. Tiger must have been pretty effed up to get pulled.

Tiger was an amazing talent in his prime...I'm not into golf AT ALL, yet I tuned into the Masters, etc. and other events simply due to his stardom and the level he played at. He could hit 100 mph fastballs out of the stadium all day long, but never had to learn how to hit a curveball....well, guess what life throws at you eventually...curveballs. He's just not equipped personally imo, and his "coach" is gone. Even that aside however, he's not a young pup anymore, and the current crop of young golfers have caught up to the skill level he had years ago....a bunch of them I might add . Tiger, even if he was in his prime today would not dominate the current crop imo. He deserves some credit for that....his greatness changed the sport.

While other boys his age were finger fking Mary Lou, Tiger was out hitting golf balls. So when he got to be somebody he started to play catch up on his arrested development.

Like I said if you don't have 100M you are a peasant to him and he doesn't want to be bothered.

This is nothing new...
