Any Ubuntu users with a Tankstick out there?
Yes. I realize this is a very pigeon holed question. Yes. I realize there are numerous forums out there to ping as well. I am just getting tapped out with the amount of forums I need to get involved in.
If there is one [I really only need one of you] out there who has an X-arcade Tankstick connected via usb to a Ubuntu [pref 16.04] host. Can you go to the terminal an run 'lsusb' [no quotes]? What vendor and hardware ID do you get? Do you get a product description? Thank you...the management.

You may want to do something like
Code:
sudo lshw -html > ~/hardware.html |

I am looking for someone who has it successfully up and running and can tell me what IDs and descriptions they are seeing.
I ran the command you suggested. It did not do the trick, but the output was very helpful. I have been looking for this sort of function in the past and I am sure it will come in handy in the future. Thank you. As an aside, I got it working this morning by changing the USB ports I connected it to.

I don't know quite why, but when I read the title to this thread, this popped into my head:
