Another solid suggestion! When I was in Philly last month I ran across their "This One Time at Band Camp" DIPA.

Love Yuengling, it's a rare treat for me because we don't have it in the Midwest.

It happens to be one of the lowest priced beers in my region, so you can't beat it for value. It tastes way better than anything else in the price range. I like its historical aspect too.

I have found Harpoon IPA to be excellent. It is very similar to Sierra Nevada's pale ale. Both of which I consider the best in terms of American style IPA/PA. Hoppy but not bitter, and certainly doesn't have the nasty sweet tones or tooty fruity grapefruit after linger that others possess.

Another interesting one is Alexander Keith's IPA. Interesting because it is completely different from other IPAs. Not the least bit hoppy and less carbonated in the sense that it is very similar to Boddingtons pub ale (more flat than carbonated).

Yeah, Bud and Coors. I see zero point in selling, because we make no profit, and they just take up a bunch of floor space. But we have to have it in the store.

You know what is hard to find? Straight Michelob. I mean the OG Michelob that came in a dark glass bottle with gold foil around the top. It might be fun to try selling it.

What state are you in? Make sure to research the favorite local brews. You can probably get into them cheaper and also gain the favor of the "local" movement and the "craft beer" movement, which is all the same people.

But since you asked the best IPA is one that's in the trash unopened.

Lone Pint IPA - Magnolia Texas

It use Mosaic hops for everything, so extreme citrus flavor

A SMaSH, Single Malt and Single Hop, IPA using a caboodle (technical term for a large amount of malt) of malt and a new hop released in 2012 called Mosaic (HBC 369). It is a daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14), one of our favorite hops. Whole cone Mosaic is used for bittering, flavoring, and aroma in the kettle; it is also massively dry hopped. The beer is named after a Texas Heroine.

98/100 rating

Quite the fan of 3F brewery. Like zombie dust and gumball head but haven't had Dreadnaught yet. Thanks for the suggestion!

Talk to your distributor(s) and see what is hot, stocking with recognizable brand names (Stone, Lagunitas, Bells, Dogfishhead) will always be a smart move. Do not neglect Bubba, make sure to have some Bud, Coors and Bush on hand as well. It will probably outsell the craft stuff 2 to 1.

In all honesty the distributor, if he is good, will know what is moving and what is not.

In the name of naming obscure IPA's.

I had this with lunch today.

Sunrise City IPA

This is in my beer fridge at home:

I love all of Dogfishheads IPA's. The 90 is fantastic too. I can get it on draft in town here, I joined a mug club where I get a 25 oz. mug of it on Mon or Thursday for $4.

That there is winning.

I was in whole foods a few weeks ago and stumbled upon the holy grail of IPA's.

What are some of your favorite craft beers (bottled)?
take a really good lager, add way too many hops until it becomes bitter with a strong aftertaste, voila! You have a hand-crafted IPA.
Bah.

Sam Adams makes a good beer.
