These Borrani wheels have splined wheel centers w/ bolt on sided hubs. If it wasn't a #'s matching GT, I'd definitely go with some T/A style/ Maier performance mods. I kinda understand. I've a friend who is a walking Chevrolet parts caralog--savant like. Has had the full breadth of late 60's and early 70's Novas to 'vettes. Always seems tortured by his pledge to orginality. Has ZERO appreciation for improvements or deviations from stock. I'm not saying you're like him in that way at all but there are simply too many improvements avaialble for a gen1 mustang to be a slave to orginality. Maybe pick up a (still iconic and) really solid/straight 6-cyl coupe and have at it!!
