I know exacltly diddly squat about wolves.

But I was doing a quick explanation about building a crew into a family, and I did happen to use the term lead from behind. In my opinion, in a small organization the concept is sound, even if the whole wolf pack thing turns out to be internet gossip.

Vital indeed. They keep the big grazers moving so the fauna can regrow itself, thus providing sustenance to a immense diversity of smaller wildlife based off that fauna. Those provide the regulation and balance any ecosystem requires. Our human culinary instinct in the 1st world is still to eat the fat and sugars foremost as if a famine were always around the corner. But imagine if every single person in society bulked up to 500lbs and looked like a weeble-wobble? Who's gonna climb the tree and get the coconuts then?
