This girl I went to college with. Shes a dentist now. Yup. Her.

I've been at the Craft Services table with Jennifer Garner (wonderful lady), and Geena Davis ( total class Act), among others. Too many others to mention.

My wife is good friends with Tracy Chapman since college. I know, no big deal, but she invited us to a party at Herb Ritz's house and I sat at the dinner table next to Cindy Crawford. I was blown away at how smart and interesting she was. A year later I sat next to Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith and Jim Belushi. I was equally blown away by how uninteresting and boring they were.

No film or TV celebrities would be on my list.

I would like to hang around with Hemmingway a bit

JavaBrewer 06-22-2017 10:04 PM

Bo Derek

wdfifteen 06-22-2017 10:37 PM

Him - Elon Musk
Her - Caroline Kennedy

WPOZZZ 06-22-2017 10:56 PM

The Pope.

astrochex 06-23-2017 03:11 AM

Her: Charlize Theron
Him: President Trump or Jack White or Jimmy Page

Geronimo '74 06-23-2017 03:40 AM

my mom.

WPOZZZ 06-23-2017 03:40 AM

The Dalai Lama would also make my knees knock.

Women that would have that effect on me are all no longer of this earth: Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Princess Diana and Mother Teresa.

sc_rufctr 06-23-2017 03:47 AM

Only one right now... Donald J Trump.

Because I'd like to make my own mind up about the sort of person he really is.
(Apologies for the semi political comment)

BK911 06-23-2017 04:05 AM

+1 for trump.

Edit: trump wouldn't make my knees knock, but would like to chat for a bit.
For knee knocking, probably charmane star. :D

David 06-23-2017 04:17 AM

Guys: It would have to be an engineer or car guy so we'd have something to talk about so Elon Musk although the conversation would likely only last 5 minutes so probably a let down. There are some interesting interviews with him on Wait But Why

Her: I've always had a thing for Elle MacPherson :)

MBAtarga 06-23-2017 04:32 AM

Richard somebody - he goes by "motion" on the Pelican forum.

cabmandone 06-23-2017 04:37 AM

Mine would have to be the Dallas Cowboys cheer leading team in a hot tub and them asking me to join them.
HEY! One can dream man

Jims5543 06-23-2017 05:57 AM

Another +1 for Trump, I think he would be annoying AF in person, I think he is an over the top type A personality that would be overbearing, someone who has to make sure you understand he is the Alpha. I have met people like that in life and prefer to not be around them. A true Alpha does not need to project it so much.

I would like to be proven wrong, or confirm what I suspect.

If I could meet someone deceased, I would love to have met Hunter Thompson sitting at a bar somewhere out west.

Don Ro 06-23-2017 06:08 AM

Trump.
A person does not arrive at being one of the wealthiest men who has walked this planet w/o an Alpha personality...personality nuances included.
Many of the world leaders he has met with recently he had already met in the course of his business ventures.
Over 500 companies in 38 countries...who else has done that?
I'll start there and think of another person.

For me, its not going to be a celebrity. I could care less about most sports. Probably science related... Einstein is dead, so he's out. Same goes for Steve Jobs. Hawking is a hero of mine, as is Elon Musk, but I don't know if they would do it for me.

I'm gonna go with Valentino Rossi :D

BTDT, he was polite and gracious but he really wasn't into chatting. He'd prolly be better if it were a scheduled meet.

I can't think of any man that would make my knees knock. As for women an intellectual knee knock would be induced by Cecelia Payne (long dead now), a more carnal knee knock would be induced by Helen Hunt.

Don Ro 06-23-2017 06:23 AM

Too much, flat. I'm impressed.
Remember that thread a couple of years ago?...Name Dropping.
An excellent entry to that.

Don't get me wrong, that's pretty cool. I have some photos with Rossi, too, but I'm talking about sitting down with him over a glass of vino rosso and getting into his head a bit.
