You wouldn't understand, but VR is other worldly. He is doing something very special on a motorbike, and is the oldest rider on the MotoGP grid. He is the Greatest of all Time. Like Schumacher was to Formula 1. And to top it off, the guy is extremely charasmatic. I know what its like to race a motorbike on a race track. VR has more talent in his little pinkie than I have in my whole being. I am in awe.

I did a few years ago, maybe 7-8? Not for anyone but myself. Very smart down to earth man. Eccentric? Maybe but in a good may.

Yes, the historical man, Jesus.
I once asked a friend how he'd react if he walked into a room alone and Jesus of N. was standing there.
He said he'd be over joyed.
Me?...I'd probably start crying.
Same with the Dalai Lama and Gandhi.
.
Gandhi was once asked what he thought of Western civilization.
"I think it would be a good idea." ...he replied.

Who

Ava Gardner, John Wayne, Audi Murphy, Marilyn Monroe. Maybe Clint Eastwood or Harrison Ford, Melania Trump.

Richard, I think we're getting it. ;)

Not a knee knocker type, but I would enjoy meeting, or would have liked the opportunity to meet:

Thomas Sowell. I have seen him speak and went to a number of his lectures. There is no finer mind.

Churchill. "The Last Lion" books by William Manchester are all riveting. Churchill's life was a series of extraordinary events that read like fiction.

Genghis Khan. He made the modern world.

Donald Fagan: Was there gas in the car?

ok, if we're talking dead people, Miyamoto Musashi, Bruce Lee, Siddhartha Gautama, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, Abraham Lincoln, Nikola Tesla, Frederick Douglas, Sam Houston.....I mean, the list goes on and on.

I probably will have the chance to meet Victor Davis Hanson. He grew up on a farm not far from me. I remember him appearing on "Valley Press" in the 1990s. He would be fascinating. I'll probably run into him during the 2020 election fundraiser season.

Really no one, I've met so many heroes already and I'm good. When they do pop up, though, it's always interesting. :)

There are some strange lists here.

But wouldn't it suck if it turns out that He really is God?

There are many people I admire but not too many that I'd really want to meet. For instance, I am a huge Bobby Orr fan but if I met him I'd have little to say that he hasn't heard a 1000 times so I guess it would be cool to just have a selfie.

I've had dinner with Ted a few times. Just sold the screenplay so look for a movie in a few years.

By "knees knock" I assume you mean emotionally overwhelmed to be able to meet and speak with that person. And from the responses it seems based on accomplishments, perceived demeanor, and even physical appearance.

To that I would have to say nope. Not a single person alive or dead that I have so much respect or admiration for that I would be overwhelmed to merely be in their presence.

As for interesting...I find the person next in line at the grocery store checkout, or buying gas at the convenience store is typically plenty interesting enough.
