Closed Escrow on the House, and on the Townhouse!

I rent back on the house for about two weeks. No more mortgage and a nice tidy sum in the bank on the difference! Just gotta continue packing, I can't believe how much Schit I've accumulated in 33 years of marriage and 63 years of life.

HOA dues are higher, but no landscaping fees, no irrigation costs, no more pool maintenance costs, but I will have three community pools. Better insulated place, overall, I hope/think the monthly costs will be a whole lot less.

Outstanding! I don't know you other than through the board but you come across as one of the nicest folks around (and we've got some nice folks!) and just really "good people". I'd say you've more than earned your good fortune it Karma points, if my impression is right.

I'm going the opposite. Going through escrow on a house I missed out on that came back on the market. All is looking good and it has a three car garage baby! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Let me know if you need referrals for movers. I also know some guys who will knock it out quick.

And BTW...this month marks the 21st anniversary of buying the house I'm in.....and when I was shopping back in '96....at the top of my criteria.....it HAD to have a 2 car garage!

When I walked in and saw an old (1930's) Studebaker and a dry erase board with all the oil, air and tranny filter model numbers for all his vehicles and mileage that he had changed them, I knew it was a car guy's home. It's the tits.
