Helicopter tape. Good, but expensive.

I buy clear wrap by the sq ft on ebay and cut it to suit my various bikes. I live on a gravel road, so put a bit on each bike behind the front tire.

The clear plasti-coat works well.

We use 2" wide heavy grade electrical tape. It peels off pretty clean, a little wipe with an adhesive remover takes care of the residue. It's thick and really does a decent job protecting the paint.

The only disadvantage is that the adhesive goes a little soft in the heat. So if you leave it parked in the sun in the summer, it might lose adhesion.

Clear plasti dip, trick is several coats and make it thick, then it peels off easy in one piece.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Xpel! The shop I was at wrapped a lot of cars with this. Usually just the standard front but also whole cars. The stuff is heat activated so it self heals. You can even buff it.
