I want to be an azzhole....

I just saw KC911s post asking if he was an azzhole, he wasn't!.

But God, I so want to be an azzhole.

I have a Facebook acquaintance that bought her obese 8 year old son a mini Segway scooter and she posted a video showing him off on his new scooter.

I SOOO badly want to write "Great, just what he needs, something to do even less exercise".

It would be one thing if the poor kids had a physical disability, but as far as I know, he has none, he's just obese, nothing else. Why the hell would you get your kids something that allows him to be even lazier. Crazy!

Come on... You gotta be a LOT more cynical if you are even going to attempt azzholiness.

Instead of the less excercise for your obesity...

"Great you got him something he can break a limb on so he will have an excuse for obesity."

I would never say anything, especially to the poor kids. The mother is doing him such a disservice though.

A guy I worked with long ago...was really fat....He would stop at McDonalds get a few Big Mac's a big bunch of Frys and then stop and buy a 1/2 gallon of ice cream before dinner.

I went around saying, "When he gets behind the wheel of his Toyota the car sags to the left....."Can you imagine the pressure that he puts on those tires"

On the plane flying back from Italy a buncha years ago, the round guy next to me stank. I mean stank like I can't even talk about it.

It wasn't bad at first but did get worser as the hours rolled on.

To this day I've not been able to identity what sort of biological mishap had befallen that guy.

Gagging stank. As we deplaned and when an escape route developed for just in case I asked him how someone can look so normal yet stink like a rotten skunk in a dumpster on a hot August day.

The guy was shocked apparently being oblivious to how insulting he reeked.

Years ago, a surgeon friend of mine, told me that one of his colleagues found a small rat inside and just beneath an obese woman's armpit. She was bed-bound for months and then was hauled into emergency for some other malady.
.
BTW, I care-took an elderly couple for two years...the wife died and was weighed in at 4 lbs. shy of 600.
She was clean and not at all stinky. Just a different side of the obese phenom.

And yes, it's common to see fat kids having fat parents.
Sad, too.

It's fun to be an a-hole but ya gotta have tough skin.
And remember peoples are not predictable.
Sometimes ya say something that is true and others agree, and other times they attack and flame.

Someone's gotta do it!

My daughter's research for her Phd was in pediatric obesity. In her thesis she stated that
her findings showed that an overweight parent did not recognize their overweight child as being overweight.

With the purchase of a Segway scooter the fat kid should be getting out more. It's a lot better than sitting in his bedroom playing games.
But I'd bet it will most likely end up discarded in a spare bedroom.

If he was my son I'd get him a dog & make sure he walks him daily. After I saw the interest my son had in gaming I bought him a baseball mitt, dug out my own from high school and played catch with him most days. He's 21 now and not fat

There's a single mother I know that claims her sons (both of them) have autism> They're both fat and she has difficulty getting them to school. Their favorite food is chicken nuggets! Lots of them... And guess what. She's trying to claim the disability pension for both of them. The problem for he is the doctors don't agree her boys have autism. All of this info comes for her frequent Faceplant posts about her lazy sons.
