Came across these during my daily "Porsche" search on Craigslist:
![]() The three pedal cars are all functional. The battery operated porsche is missing the battery, so not sure if it works yet. The plan is a full mechanical restoration, buff out the paint the best I can, then several coats of wax.

I suggest researching about original paint value and desirability of the nature patina.
They could be like real cars and the whole "unrestored" thing. If you wanted one of these things on he wall of your restaurant, bar or man-cave, would you want it all new looking? I'm pretty sure other antique toys are worth more in their natural state. I'm no Antiques Road Show expert, but I have watched it a few times.

I hear ya George.
No cosmetic restoration, just a buff and wax. Want to keep original paint and stickers, but get rid of surface rust and shine up the best I can. Mechanical restoration is un bending some stuff and a couple dabs of grease.

I would not "shine up" either.
It can often result in what looks like fake patina. Agree with George, they may have more value "as is"

Excellent feedback guys, thanks!!
Less work, worth more. Easy decision! Fortunately I didnt have to kill anybody for these. Just got lucky on a craigslist search. Found these "peddel cars" under "porsch" ![]() My <3 year old almost fits, and my <1 year old will fit in a couple years. More interested in the fun factor than $s.

Ebay, ask prices so take it for what it's worth.
Worse condition than yours, missing parts. Complete and indicates unrestored. Rough unrestored Another one Prices seem to vary but value seems to be more dependent on how complete it is, ladders, bell, etc... than condition. I'd leave them alone.

I was born in '68. The picture was around '72 when I lived in the Bahamas.
I remember my father taking me to the Salvation Army to donate it when I was too big for it. A very sad day. Hope some kid got good use out of it.

I would have killed for one of those as a kid. My dad was in the Air Force and we moved almost every year when I was a little kid. Mom was on a tight budget and her job was to be mom. I never had the cool toys like that. I had a firetruck that was metal and had an extension ladder but it was not but 12 inches long and way too small to sit in or on.
I did have a bike that got moved but no old toys ever made the move. Don't get me wrong, I think I had wonderful parents. They were married for 55 years before death do they part.
