Yeah, I've been a Prime member for years. Every time that I logged in it has said ships in 1-2 months. I don't think it ever said in stock or only X left, order now or anything like that. I had added it to my cart at $6.99, then went back a day or two later and it had gone to $15 and change which is what it's at now. I do occasionally see stuff on Amazon go down, sometimes even after adding to my cart. But that's getting less common and the trend is going the other way.

Very weird. I'm sure Amazon has software that says "XX% of the time if this guy adds it to his cart, he buys it eventually so we can jack up the price on him".

For filling rock chips like these, I'll go to the art supply store and get a small selection of VERY fine brushes to use with the touch-up paint instead of the brush that comes with the bottle. Works pretty much the same as this tool. I also found that thinning the paint so that it flows just right is a big help.
