Awesome! Really nice to see some real vintage trucks, not a bunch of LS swapped resto-mods that seem to dominate this segment. Thanks for posting.

It's on the grounds of Young's Dairy, near Yellow Springs, Ohio (south of Springfield).

Yes, everyone loves Joe's Junkyard Dog. The irony is it wasn't originally a truck. It started out as a Model A sedan.

How old do the vehicles have to be to qualify as vintage?
Cool show. Great trucks.

Great photos. Love the old trucks. Thanks for posting.
Classic trucks are becoming very popular around here with the avocado and vineyard guys. Anybody can go down and buy a Toyota Tundra, and deal with a 50% depreciation over three years. I just finished restoring this 72 Chevy K10. I wanted older, but this one has power steering, power brakes, and A/C. ![]() ![]()

My Uncle has a petina/rusty 58 Cameo Chevy pickup that he re-arranges the grill with a set of buckteeth, and mounts a 2"x4" tow hook when he goes to car shows. It looks just like the "Mater" truck from the animated movie "Cars".
All the kids love it. Last edited by ckelly78z; 08-14-2017 at 08:52 AM.. |

Was that Clayton's Dairy truck sold on BaT?
Craig - Glad to see you went with the older chevy instead of the newer one.

Another site I visit posted this 4 minute video of the history of Studebaker pickups.
A 1939 in the mix is pure sex with it's grille. Art deco styling...love it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr6HnF7xGYs
