You betcha. I used one on my 991 battery change recently... It saved most presets but not all, so I'm not 100% sure they work on modern cars or if I was lucky. But they sure still exist ! Best use a 12V source via the cigarette lighter...

(edit) Hmmm, now you've got me thinking. Maybe buy a 12V male plug, wire it to the 12V motorcycle battery "borrowed" from the home alarm system..

There was a driving procedure to go through after a battery change in the Mustang's manual, but if I could save that 30 minutes or so..
