Nart Spyder

This is a recreation by the team at Larry Wilson's car collection...they do not build for sale or customers just for his collection.
He has full time guys that do frames, body, electrical, mechanical etc....the body for this car was done using old blue prints and wooden bucks, as was done at Ferrari.
The body is all alloy. My friend Dave manages the collection for Larry and sent me these pics.
They've been invited to show the car at the next SEMA show....

a real Ferrari was sacrificed. some will not approve.

luigi chinetti was my neighbor growing up in Greenwich, ct. I remember the cars they chopped back in the day. nobody cared about destroying a 275 back then.

yep. looks odd w/ campy's. should have borannis. the roll bar and blue seat inserts don't help much either.

Ferrari would crush it if they got a chance...they do that with replicas.

while I am not sure where this was built, I am quite sure it was not at Ferrari. possibly Roberto villa in bastiglia or?

You guys are tough. I'd take it. It looks beautiful. The Nart spyder
is easily my favorite car of all time.

not trying to be harsh. just the facts. I agree with you, I have seen some replicas that I would love to own but there comes lots of downside too.

I actually like the wheels. This car is gorgeous....

Is this the same body I saw being panel-beaten at SEMA last year?

I like the wheels too...Larry will compete in this car, he drives all of his cars...hard so I suspect that had something to do with the wheels....not sure if it was at SEMA, I'll ask Dave...here are a few more bodies the guys have done...

Read my post...this was built by the owner of the collection...Larry has full time guys that can do that kind of work...I've posted pics of his collection before...this was done in his collection 'shop' by his guys...some trained at that University that gives car resto degree's, they are not made for sale....here is a pic of one of his cars he let me drive around....this is an original not a remake..

Haha! Not so much jealous as I am sad for the owner of the car. I probably could have done a better job. At least on any chrome, aluminum and cadmium work. Doing some 512BB suspension pieces now.

Sign me up, I have friends in Boca! And I am, ahem, always nice.
