I did a course lasting a couple of days, just enough to get people started with the right products and procedures. As per usual... This sprayer would have done, but for a bit more you can get this and a little bit more can get this :rolleyes"
But the 911 is my darling and if I'd made a change that wasn't an improvement it would wind me up forever. |

Bill - Let us know how you like it.........I bought one and used it to paint an old Toyota PU a few years ago........The 11th car I'd painted over the years.....I don't think I had the right scoop on air pressure settings......One of my worst paint jobs ever......I quickly sold the truck, late at night, on a dark rainy night........

LOL, that's pretty funny Bob.
I looked at various youtubes relating to the devilbiss pro and pro lite. Everyone seemed to have their own opinion (surprise me) on air pressures. Before I touch the 911 I'll get a few liters of miss-tints from the car paint shop and do a "paint the garden shed" sort of practice. Everything in the class seemed easy, especially when the tutor set up the gun. I have the TE10 air cap tip which is good for two parts base coasts and clear coats. I don't even have a compressor or regulators so I'll be a while. |

I don't mean to hijack but I bought these the other day... They look like nothing special but these pliers are very specialized and can make a really difficult task easy.
They're medium to light duty and perfect for hobbies etc. Perfect for grabbing the end of a nylon or SS shaft/pin or the last ditch effort to remove that stubborn stripped screw. Note the serrated end jaws. (Fujiya SP26 175)

Nice. I could see a use for those around my place.
Nice cutting board. I've just bought GF an Olfa cutting board and "pizza cutter". She bought an overlocker and did a few night classes on how to use it so she back into her sewing. I think she'll like the cutting board and rotary cutter. |
