Post a pic (or advert) of your families car when you were a kid...

Ok, now for something completely different. Post up a photo of your family's grocery getter when you were a kid. Bonus points if it is a pic of the actual car.

Hint, this is the place to post your mom's car, not your dad's hot rod.

I'll start. 1979 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser in this brown with the wood grain, 403 Engine and Velour Interior...

'58 Dodge wagon. Ours was yellow and white. Pretty car, 360 V8 four barrel that would pass anything but a gas station. The transmission went out in 1964 and dad junked it because of all the rust.

Grew up in my 356... Other car was a Rambler. Had a VW camper. Sold camper and Rambler, got a '76 Olds Vista Cruiser (was my first car).

I remember the Malibu, a Nova that I didn't have a picture of, the white Olds and the white Midget. There was another picture with just the last few inches of a black MG too, but I don't remember that one.

I only remember the olds on one camping trip where it had a blow out and dad was pissed. I suppose it could have been the same trip as the photo below.

My dad spent a year away from us when he went back into the Navy. I have no idea what Mom drove in that year. Maybe the Malibu, but I really couldn't say. The only thing that I remember about that year is where we lived.

Me in front of the family truckster that servered us from 1978-1980 in Japan.

Not actual pics of the family's trucksters, but the same cars.

Truckster I came home from the hospital in, 1950 Chrysler Windsor Town & Country wagon

Next after the Chrysler, 1962 Nova wagon

After the Nova, 68 Impala Custom Coupe (327 with Muncie 4 spd)
