Pesky new neighbours
My new neighbour is a real COW.......
     Mother and daughter have been hanging around our acreage for the last week enjoying an early fall salad bar that was our flower gardens...oh, well..have at her ladies.....just please don't leave any 20 lb meadow muffins....lol!

I love Moose meat...very tender but not fatty nor gamey. I've a friend that has a Hunting business in BC.....lovely stuff.

I stumbled onto a female moose and her calf resting a few years ago elk hunting while hiking in a snow storm back to camp. I had to change my pants after she jumped up and gave me the evil eye.

Actually the second and third pic were taken from our breakfast nook window...I could have taken a "safe" selfie there as she was outside and I was inside.....BUT she might have busted through the window....
