These threads make me sad that I didn't buy a 928 when they were cheap. I've always liked the car, just never found one worth buying.

Becaureful looking for a good deal. It is easy to spend $5K to $8K on a 928 that is still $10K away from being a $10K car.

My favorite 928 wheel is the aluminum space saver wheel that I put in the trunk of my 911.

(And, on the whole, it's obvious from the pictures on this thread that Porsche did a pretty good job designing the road wheels for the 928, on the whole. Aftermarket wheels don't necessarily improve the looks in the least. In my humble opinion.)

My car has been on 89 GT wheels since 89.

The 928 is an amazing car.

Porsche is an incredible car company....period.

The early clutter free 928 with phone dials is the best of the breed.

I’m a victim of the past, much like I am with air cooled 911s. I can remember when you could find a nice S4 for under $10k, and that wasn’t very long ago. I came very close to buying an 85.5 RoW and an 89 S4, both ultimately fell through.

This is topic that I agree with. I have seen lots of 928 s with strange wheels.
I have a set of D90 for sale , like new. They look perfect on the 928 and 944 .
