Leave some beer out for them, then use them as clothes pins.

I'm not so sure that's completely true. Skunks have a strong unpleasant odor even with their glands removed.

While possum's eat bugs, ticks rodents and snakes they are not good to have around horses because of their diet. They can spread EQUINE PROTOZOAL MYELOENCEPHALITIS to the horses.

My sister the Horse Dr. told me about this. Lucky we don't have them up here.

EPMhorse – The opossum is the host for the EPM protozoa

Possums are not great yard guest and you for sure don't want them in the attic or any structure you own. Just like mice they will crap and pee wherever they are.

Frogs, toads, skinks or lizards are some of the few good critters to have around. Rat snakes and the like just mean you have mice. Kill off the mice, the snakes will leave.

Possums are for sure way better than skunks or armadillos, but I don't want any of them around.

A friend in high school had a pet skunk. I don't remember it smelling any worse than a cat.

Don't worry until a skunk shows up at your cat food bowl. Yeah... they really like that stuff.
