This was a steaming pile of **** because of the Disney femnazis. So Kathleen Kennedy who was Speilberg's coffee girl for 30 years ruined all this ****. She never made a single movie with strong female leads. Now she got the keys to Star Wars every movie stars a brunette british female. Every male character is a dumb ass who needs to ask a womans permission to get anything done.
I think George hand picked her because he knew she was a dumbass who's ruin the new SW movies and make his prequels look better. In 4 months the SOLO movie comes out and not even a trailer yet. Word is Disney already wrote this off as a bomb. This movie stars another brunette british chick who can't act worth a damn. Rogue One was the same way, the end was good but the rest sucked and that female british girl had a punchable face. These new SW movies are just girl power crap made by millennial male directors who suck ****. Just wait until they get a female director to make a SW movie. The only reason they cast Rose and other Chinese actors is because China's movie market will over take the US soon and for some reason they don't get SW but they like Fast and Furious movies much more. Disney is a ruthless POS company from the top down and they don't cast characters because they care, its to shove their money funnel into that countries territory and vacuum out their bucks. IMO this was a satanic feminist take over to cut off the balls of Luke Skywalker and shove them into his mouth and demasticate his legacy and trash it. They might as well cut off Luke's head and have some lebsian butch dyke chick hold it up like Medusa from Clash of the Titans. Us Star Wars fans got Ghostbustered on this one. Mark my words in the Solo movie he will be portrayed as a clueless dumbass and the female again will have to tell the owner of the falcon, how to work the falcon. |

Just saw it, I am decidedly unimpressed. Poor plot, poor character development, stilted acting, stupid end to Leia and Luke.
Whilst not as anti-feminist as some on this thread, I can't get my head around what appears to be a 50kg woman taking on a 100kg guy on an equal basis....all the other fantasy stuff I can write off a science fiction, but that part just violates any common sense. If you watch a 50kg karate lady take on a 100kg male opponent, they never go muscle against muscle as the lady (or smaller person) will lose every time, but they are masters at redirecting energy and more of the rapier through the heart than the broadsword smashes we see in the current Star Wars. Even the 3D sucked..... Probably my last Star Wars in a theatre, probably will just wait for the next one to become available on Netflix as there would be NO rush to see it anymore. Dennis |

The story was a real second rate effort. Seriously lower grade than Episodes one to three...
However the effects and overall filming was great to watch.. in 3D on the big screen with a great sound system... entertainment at its best. The battle scene on the 'bleeding' planet... sure its Hoth all over again but the visual feast is orders better (as it should be!). Worth seeing simply for this aspect. The story has long since taken a back seat.
