Ban Island

It seems that one (possibly two) people here are booking their stays...if that happens anymore.

see the teachers and students thread and I think ban island itself is no longer as there appears to no longer be moderators.

I think the ferries have been out of order for a few years.

Often if a thread goes on for long enough it eventually turns into a pissing match. When that happens I stop posting in that thread.

Yep. Many threads that go more than two pages cease to be about the topic at hand.

discipline is its own reward.

This site without moderation in OT and PARF, is a sad statement about a great sponsor.

Instead of ferrying them out to the island then back again at the end of the week it was found to be more efficient to just give them http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-politics-religion/

Agreed. And participation completely optional. Yep, some of PARF is fun. When the children tank a thread, it’s super easy to go elsewhere. Hate to see anyone take it too seriously.

Are there PARF threads that don't tank?

There's a bunch in PARF that are transintelligent, they have an IQ of 75... but identify as 160.

A pity flights to that destination are not available. I thought the "hang yourself "comment was below the standard of Pelicans.

Best

This is 90% of the reason I don't do business with Pelican anymore.

Moderator pay has slipped below the industry standard....

Moderators don't seem to be as responsive and proactive as they once were.

Still a good place to hang out and for the most part a bunch of good people here.

On one of the other places I visit, I saw someone with the username of "Dipso". I don't think he has been banned but haven't seen the username here for a while.
