Make Bruins Great Again

Need software to download YouTube vids
I used to use YTD: "Youtube downloader". Tried to update it and Avira is kicking it out due to adware. Tried "Free Youtube Downloader" - no good.
Anyone out there have a suggestion that is not full of adware or malware?

I use vdownloader plus. It works great for a few bucks. No ads on the plus version.

I have used iTube Studio for a while now. It has two ways of getting videos, first by copying the URL such as a YouTube video address and the other is a screen copy so if you are watching a movie such as HULU or other you place a screen grab area over the movie area and press the record button.
I use Handbrake to do any necessary video conversions as the screen grabs are MKV files but YouTube videos can be MP4 or others and my VIZIO player box likes a certain size MKV files. |
