Overall, the commercials were not great. Lots of feel good PC stuff which is OK but not funny at all. I miss the good SB commercials of the past. I only watch one football game per year and only because of the social obligations. We were invited to another couples house to their superbowl party and we had not seen them in a while so my wife said we are going.

The game is just giant men playing with a funny shaped ball and watching other people play a game is not my thing. I prefer to watch sports like racing.

If some commercial looked like it was boring, I fast forwarded through that, and went to the next. I gave the 1/2 time show a couple shots at being something that I wanted to see, but fast forwarded through 95% of it...not into pop music, JTL, or dance moves.

My vote is the Dodge commercial w/ the Vikings (as in real Vikings) going to Minneapolis, then getting the alert on the truck's touchscreen that the Vikings didn't make the superbowl, getting sad and turning around to head home.

I think this was the secret genius of the Tide commercial: it made EVERY OTHER commercial potentially a Tide commercial, and that was always in the back of your head.
