I was tongue in cheek a bit. Anybody in the top 100 is a very skilled pool player. Very much pro level. If two players in the top 25 match up in a short race to 9 or less games? Flip a coin.. ("Race" means to a set number of games won..most tournaments use 9 or 7 initially, longer race for the finals.)
Shane Van Boening, out of South Dakota, is currently ranked #1. Pretty remarkable achievement.
