Anyone in/near Covington, WA that could check out a set of wheels for me?
Hello!
This is car related, but not Porsche related... I just bought a VW Golf R that came with non-OEM wheels & winter tires - which is great for winter use, but I'd like to track down a set of OEM wheels for summer. I've found a fellow near Seattle in Covington, WA that has a set for sale... I've successfully completed a few medium/big $$ long-distance transactions, but also been burned a few times too and the price of these wheels is over my threshold of "I can suck it up if it's a scam". I'd love to have someone else put a set of eyes on the guy and the wheels if possible. This forum is awesome and although I don't post a ton, I do visit every day and am familiar with a lot of usernames here - not so much on other forums. I'm not looking to inconvenience anyone! My theory on long distance deals is that if they come together easily, they are meant to be and if they don't, then they are not meant to happen! Does anyone in that neighborhood of the PNW have a few minutes to spare in the next few days? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Tom
