Ford MyKey System

Anyone have this option? Allows parents to set limits to various car functions when the kids are using the car.
Vehicle top speed, audio volume, and a few other car warnings can all be set by the parents with their cell phone.
Seems extreme to me...especially the top speed limiter. If passing another car, I would not like to find out that at 65mph there was no more left.

In theory, your parents would tell you that you had no more left at 65 before you drove off and you'd know better than to try to pass if you didn't have room/space/speed.

^^^
Yeah, I agree that's how it should work.
The commercials that they keep running over and over here, show the kids reporting to the father that something is wrong with the car...it won't go over 65. (as the father smirks)
Bad way to promote it...I think.

Do you have child safety locks on your cabinets and drawers?

At some point you have to trust that you have trained your kids well enough you can let them out of you sight.
