ZZ Top was incredible.

Gotta love the Internet, looked up the Expect No Quarter Tour and got the exact date I saw them.

I remember it as a great concert, wore the Jersey I bought all the time - one of my favorite tees until it turned into a rag for washing my motorcycle.

I ran into Billy at a local restaurant about 10 years back. A lot of people were just thanking him and shaking his hand.

I last saw them in 1986 in the Hartford Civic Center, with Back Stage Passes. It was the Afterburner Tour. Really nice guys after the show, hung out for about 20 minutes.,

Ya mean the ones that spin?

Saw them a bazillion years ago, there was a huge Sphinx as a back drop and all their equipment was covered with a huge white tarp. When they came onstage the tarp went up the Sphinx nose... I have no idea what they were implying

Would love to see them again, but guessing tickets are $$$

Nah, one of the cheapest big name bands to see, if not the cheapest. $75 or $85, for the show here. California may be different because you guys are special.

Surprised to find this topic here. Have Frank Beard's '89 930 M505 starring at me.
