Taking the BigA$$ RV from Los Angeles to PA left today

250 mile from Home to Needles,CA today. Plan on 250-300 miles per day. Gone for two months. We’ll be visiting my Daughter, SIL and two grandsons, to be 3 grandsons around May 1 in NYC. From PA to DE,MD, VA, NC and who knows where from there. Fair warning Seahawk, I intend to park my RV at your crib overnight!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1523236518.jpg

A rolling motel...if is rocking don't come knocking.

wdfifteen 04-08-2018 06:22 PM

I live 8 miles off I-70, 14 miles east of Richmond, IN. If it's convenient, stop by. We have great food and lots of parking space for you.

If for some reason you find yourself on I-74 rolling through Bloomington, IL, let me know!

Hugh who?

Drive well...You and yours are welcome at the drop of a hat.

vash 04-08-2018 06:37 PM

Have fun!

vash 04-08-2018 06:38 PM

can you smuggle us .22ammo? :)

MRM 04-08-2018 06:47 PM

Drive well, Hugh, and have a safe trip. Report your exploits to us early and often. If you ever find yourself traveling the Upper Midwest after the snow finally melts for the season, stop by and let us ply you with leftse and lutefisk until you can't take it anymore. Or burgers, bratwurst and beer - your choice.

Couldn’t decide on bring the 9, 40, 380 or the Bond derringer 45/410, so I brought them all. Tip, AAA 100 mile towing for an RV is an extra $39/year. Thanks all.

If you pass thru Kansas City I’d be honored to fill y’all up on some great BBQ!

tevake 04-08-2018 07:29 PM

Ditto, if you are coming thru NW fla. I've got a spot for you here, near Panama City.

Hugh, you should get Allstays app for the search for places to stay along the way, if you don't have it.
I also use a book called, "RV camping in state parks". It's nice to get away from the parking lot type places so common along the interstates if you have time to drive some lesser routes. Really changes a trip. Into a cruise.

Happy trails, Richard

Lot of neat stuff to see as you travel hither and yon. It is indeed possible to get your kicks on route 66

911boost 04-08-2018 11:15 PM

You coming through Colorado or Wyoming?

Bill Douglas 04-09-2018 01:11 AM

Have fun Hugh. Take your time and enjoy.

BeyGon 04-09-2018 03:34 AM

I hear Route 66 is hard on suspension, slow and easy.

ckelly78z 04-09-2018 03:47 AM

Sounds like a neat trip, have fun, report back on experiences, and if in NW Ohio, say the word for lunch on me.

billybek 04-09-2018 05:05 AM
