My mechanic suggested a 40,000 offer. He called and made a verbal for me. If he comes back with a full price of 42,000 like he original wanted, I am OK with that. Owner is out of town until end of next week. Keep you guys posted

Honestly, from what you said $42k is still a very fair price unless it’s trashed. Hard to find any 996TT for under $40k.

The Cayman S is a great car. Nice handling and fun to drive. The 996TT is on another level in terms of speed and acceleration.
