i dont do social media. not anymore. two reasons, but the main one is that i dont want my info out there for the nutjobs of my history.

i still occasionally think about it. i had one lady do some very good detective work and fool someone at my office for my phone number. (or somebody) she called me out of the effen blue. apparently, she got her dream and married a doctor. she was one that needed to be taken care of, which is fun for a bit - but eventually very unattractive to me. ugly almost.

she got knocked up, had two kids and one on the way. she then started bawling to me. crying so hard i could barely make out the words. her husband was a wife beater. i dont remember my response..she was blubbing out statements like, "i pick the worst men" (hey, not all of them! i'm awesome!).."i want to die except my beautiful babies"

if i ever got a more horrible phone call, i dont remember it. i let her talk and said, "good luck, i hope it all works out"..and hung up. i turned in that work phone and requested a new one.

i do hope it worked out for her. i find the most beautiful women are the ones that can stand on their own two feet..ones that dont need me. hehe. that chick never figured it out.

life is too short for crazy bat**** women. my stomach was in knots for a week..not because she called me, but because she COULD call me.

i had another EX call me and say the following words, "hey, my doctor put me on meds, we can get back together now!" chilling..simply chilling.

One called me to say she had recently become a US citizen, had a consulting job that required a security clearance and asked if I'd take care of her if I got called as part of the background check. I said I would, though I know (to this day) her loyalties do not lie with the USA. But I never heard about it again.

Shortly after one breakup, the ex talked her way into my office while I was at lunch. My co-workers didn't know we had broken up and just believed her that she had to leave something on my desk. She sprayed her perfume on my chair, but nothing else. That was kind of weird.

Ex GF from HS looked me up. She cheated on me with some rich guy who she eventually married. He turned out to be an alcoholic and abusive. They divorced.

How do I know this? Because she then looked me up on Zuckenbook and tried to reconnect.

I told her I found the most amazing and beautiful woman in the world (sorry Motion mines better ) and I would never do anything to insult her or hurt her, I then told her to take a hike, then she accused me I plotting to leave me wife for her and started stirring up a mess.

Blocked her on Zuckenbook and never logged out and never logged back in again.

I have had two "Play Misty for Me" experiences in my life...well before the invention of the interwebs and just before I got married 28 years ago.

I cannot imagine how intrusive someone with intent could be these days. Yikes.

College girlfriend is now art director at a studio. She hires me for projects from time to time. We have these three hour phone calls where it’s 10% about the project and 90% her rambling.

Had a wave about ten years back of ex’s calling out of the blue. They’d run their husbands into the ground and were looking for new victims.

In the mid-90’s, I dated a veterinarian. She worked mainly on horses, but would do volunteer spay and neutering on dogs and cats at the local animal shelter. She also did work for the Amish and whenever I could get free, I would go with her as some of the stories and situations were amazing. She drove a very unique Toyota pickup with a cap. That will become important later. One day, we went with another vet as an assistant to castrate a shetlen pony. Apparently, he was wild and causing all sorts of issues. Once we caught him, she knocked him out and tied a rope around one of his rear legs down by the hoof. My job was to hold the rope lifting his leg up so these two women could access the goods. All was fine until they brought out this torture device called an emasculator and used it to remove the oysters. While they were doing their dirty work, the assistant looked at me and said, “we show all our men what we are capable of doing.” My girl friend then snickered. I was traumatized.

She was never really right for me and I finally realized that the adventure was more interesting than she was and in the nicest way possible, I bowed out. Within a couple of weeks, I started noticing a truck that looked just like hers parked around the little town where I lived (she lived 30 miles away and had no reason to be in my town). It was too much to be a coincidence. Then my home phone would ring and I’d answer, but no one was there (I didn’t have a cell phone and this was before caller ID). Over the next few weeks, I would get 4, 5, 6 or more calls each night. No one there, but they wouldn’t hang up. It always started a few minutes after I got home from work. I started thinking about that emasculator.

Then I got an offer in the mail for a new telephone service *57. It allows you to call back the last number that called you. The day it was turned on I got home from work and the phone rang. I answered, nobody there. I made a big show of saying hello over and over and being mad. Finally, I hung up and waited a few minutes. Pressed *57. The phone rang twice and she answered. I said, “Hi, (her name), it’s me.” She was very excited and couldn’t believe that I called, thinks about me all the time. I said, “I know, why do you keep calling me and then don’t say anything?” She denied the entire thing, she would never do that, that is rude and she’s a doctor, not cool. I said, “Funny that, I just got a new telephone service that allows me to hit *57. I lost your number a long time ago, but I hit *57 after one of those annoying calls and you answered. Can you explain that, doctor?” There was silence for a moment and then she said, “Damn, foiled by technology” and hung up.

I never heard from her again, but started sleeping on my stomach just in case.

But on FB I had a HS ex-girlfriend, that I haven't seen in 40 years, begging me to go out with her, totally bat poop crazy PM.
When I messaged back that I was happily married it was "Oh...lucky girl...nevermind".

Before I met my now wife, some of the girls that I dated prior to her would become one of my patients (it was "ok" back then...not so much today) and some still are, along with their children and even their grandchildren in some cases. As a result of this I've seen the women that I used to date change and age over the years and most of the time ...it ain't for the better..trust me!!

Each time one of them comes in to see me on a professional basis that day, that evening I usually get on my knees and take my wife's hand and look deeply into her eyes and tell her "I'm so glad I married you!!"...to which she then states "OK, who was it this time!?!"

I have a "not ex-GF", just a friend from back in Albany who only seems to call when she breaks up with a boyfriend. When ever she calls, the first question from my wife is "Did she just break up again?". Yup.

I did have one ex, a long time ago, that was on the crazy-hot part of the crazy hot scale. She would call and say "I'm over at the (local grocery store)", when it was a tiny, crappy place that no-one would go to if they didn't live close by. We did hook back up for a while, before I dropped her for the girl 15 years younger...which also didn't work out.

Very happy to be with Mrs Beard. she is the best and would only use the emasculator on me if she caught me doing bad things.

Nooooooo, ex number 1 and number 2 are dead, I outlasted them. Staying with my last one.

I have had two previous children from many years ago find me just to see what their mothers had married. No issues and we stay in touch sort of. I am expecting one or three of the Asian kids with red hair to show up some day?????
