Benelli Legacy 20ga incoming!
Sold one of my guns via gunbroker and the proceeds have been sitting unused for nearly 4 days!
Fixed it in part today. Benelli Legacy 20ga. Should be here next week. Been on a Benelli kick this year with an M2 that flat out refuses to miss a duck or goose and most recently a Montefeltro 20ga that I like very much. I'm more or less done with 12ga guns for anything other than ducks/geese so I searched gunbroker for used 20ga Benelli anything. This one came up. Exceptionally nice wood on this gun even for a Legacy.

well it looks like the photo upload isn't working well so you guys will just have to imagine a very pretty Benelli Legacy.

That is purdy!
My friend has a Benelli O/U... I was checking it out and said "it looks like a piece of furniture!"

Very nice!
Wish they made an O/U in a 20 gauge.

Picked it up last week and finally got to shoot it today. She was filthy on arrival so I cleaned her up and she sparkled.
Soooo easy to clean a benelli action. Took it and the montefeltro to the clays course today. Had to put an aftermarket pad on as benelli field guns are shoooort. Will make up a spacer and use the factory pad at some point in the near future. Gun shoots great and I think the action is a little slicker/faster than the Monte. Weird wood coloration as you’ll notice in the pics. That’s what I get for buying online I guess. ![]() ![]() ![]() Put 100 through it with no ill effects. Will make a great bird gun particularly upland. With the factory pad length of pull will be perfect for my son. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

One very neat thing about the legacy action is the top of the receiver is a separate piece that comes off after removing the barrel. Makes it super easy to clean.

Sa-weet! While I'm no shotgunner (and can easily prove it), I know a nifty gun when I see one. I kinda like the wood - at least you will always know which one is yours... Or your son's... (lucky kid).

I own the same gun and it is my absolute favorite gun of the six shotguns I own. Gave up the 12ga years ago when I got the Legacy 20ga. I kill many pheasants and grouse every year with it. Smooth shooting and reliable.
