you all are choosing regional favorites? that is not a weird combo.

weird combo is like vanilla ice-cream with black pepper. two normal ingredients that dont belong together. no?

i met a guy that actually put black pepper on his vanilla ice cream. i suspect it was more of an OCD thing, he put pepper on every food item that went into his mouth. every food item.

When I was little my baby sitter was this 14 year old sadist named Wendy. She organized Fear Factor type events for the kids under her control. I remember eating a tuna-honey sandwich at one point.

Mrs WD is out of town for a couple of days. I get cravings when she's gone (for food, too) and I indulge myself because - I can.
Today's menu - Manwich with corn and onions, canned peas, cottage cheese, kettle cooked potato chips. I may never have this combination again, but it's like a laundry list of things I like that she would NEVER eat.
