DIY excellent thread about polishing paint, removing swirl marks, etc

Guys,
I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to paint. I found this thread on a BMW forum that was very insightful:

It is lengthy read and will motivate some for even more work (through the paint polishing process). It gives good background, nonetheless.
